Feminists Don't Wear Pink (And Other Lies)

The Sunday Times bestseller, Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (And Other Lies) is ‘an urgent and inspirational’ collection of new writing curated by Pink Protest activist Scarlett Curtis. Sold in six territories worldwide and featuring contributions from writers Dolly Alderton and Helen Fielding, activists Amika George and Adwoa Aboah and actresses Kiera Knightley and Margot Robbie amongst many others, Curtis’ collection is packed full of influential names from activism and the arts, with royalties of each copy sold going to the UN’s international girls’ charity, Girl Up.

This book aims to bridge the gap between the feminist hashtags and scholarly texts, with personal stories from a range of inspiring women about what the F word means to them. Scarlett Curtis said: “This book will be intersectional feminism at its most collaborative and understandable. It will be an entryway into the movement and a bible for those already in it. Every woman in the world has a different route to their personal understanding of feminism; many still aren’t there yet. But this book will be an inspirational tool for young women everywhere to share how they found their voice.”

Curtis has also launched an international Instagram movement on the @feminists handle to explore the messages of the book and shine a light on the girls that are a part of Girl Up’s global leadership development program.
