Elyse Fox is a filmmaker, tastemaker and mental health activist splitting her time between New York City and London. Elyse is the founder of Sad Girls Club, the first non-profit, millennial-led, mental health organization. Today Sad Girls Club has members in 6 continents and over 40 countries. Elyse continues to spread awareness through curriculum consulting, journalism, speaking engagements and more.
Fox has written for Elite Daily, Vogue, Bustle, Women’s Health, and Refinery29 on a range of topics including intersectionality within wellness to building community through tragedy. This year Fox has presented at Harvard University, Yale University and USC. Fox is also the Editor-In-Chief of ‘Take Care’ a mental health column with Vice and Broadly launching this winter.
In addition to her literary work, Fox uses her voice to consult with companies about spreading awareness and providing a voice for marginalised communities. Elyse has collaborated with Olay Beauty, Monki, Timberland, ASOS and Nike to name a few.
